Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope you and your loved ones enjoyed a safe, restful summer and are just as excited as we are to begin another incredible year together at Date Elementary School.

As I proudly enter my 10th year here at Date, I am reminded daily of the strength and unity that defines our school community. It is with immense pride that I share some exciting accomplishments:

• Date Elementary was recently named a California Distinguished School, a reflection of our schoolwide commitment to academic excellence, equity, and innovation.
• We have also earned the Platinum Award for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) for the fifth consecutive year, affirming our dedication to fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive school culture for all students.
• Most importantly, we have continued to provide an effective, supportive, and enriching learning environment that meets the diverse needs of every child on our campus.
